Registration for MBA2020 is now open!

1900km till 3000km, that’s the piste route for the 2020 Morocco-BikeAdventure. Same start location at Tangier, same time, same finish location at Sidi Ifni at the Atlantic Ocean as the new road route. The 2020 route brings you trough the Rif Mountains and over the Middle Atlas straight to the Sahara desert. Explore pistes used by the famous Paris-Dakar rally.The map shows the Ultimate route with 3000km and 32’000m vertical climbing.

You probably never have seen that many stars.

It will probably not always work out that you stop for the night where you find an auberge or hotel to stay. But it’s worth it to stay the night at one of these remote places, in the mountains or in the desert. You probably never have seen that many stars.

Lucky I had the storm behind me.

Working on the 2020 route and going over the photos from this October/November route scouting by bike.I could watch all day the to the pictures i made.This one is in the Sahara. The desert is an absolut stunning place, not boring at all. And yes it can rain there, not very usual. Lucky i had the storm behind me.Left side you see in the back the piste that will be part of the route.

MBA-2020 will follow some more pistes that have been part of the legendary original Paris-Dakar Rallye. If you choose the “hardest” route you see probable a group of 2 motorbikers or a “caravan” with 2 or 3 offroad cars a day. Mobile, internet access, false. Clean air and a million stars night sky, true. Adventure: guaranteed.Registration for the 2020 edition will open December 1st.For experienced bikepackers or adventurers only.
