At 08:00 on Sunday morning, five determined riders set off from Tangier, marking the official start of the Morocco-BikeAdventure.
Four participants are tackling the adventurous piste route, while one has chosen the scenic but no less challenging road route. With the sun already shining and temperatures warmer than usual for this time of year, the day promised both beauty and endurance.
A steady tailwind helped push the riders forward – but offered little relief from the rising heat. As they left Tangier behind, the bustle of city life quickly faded. Within moments, riders found themselves immersed in the vast, open countryside of northern Morocco – where the real adventure begins.
